It was so much fun photographing these two sisters – right here in my own backyard. While everything around the place is very much dead – I love the colours of the long dead grass. All these two did was laugh and smile and I love capturing their natural expressions!
The weather gods were not in agreement for Garth & Sheena’s wedding day – it began very dark, with thunder and lightning. However both parties were still pretty upbeat, and we had plans in place.
The always beautiful grounds at Bracu in the Bombay Hills was the location for the ceremony and reception. Garth & Sheena had chosen to see each other before the ceremony and had allowed plenty of time for photos – this also meant time to wait out the showers of rain! 🙂
In amongst the olive trees and at times with an umbrella, the gorgeous grounds were a great backdrop. Everything looked so green and lush! By mid afternoon the rain had stopped, the sun even making an appearance after the ceremony. It was a beautiful day, and we had great fun with the whole bridal party.
Thank you Garth & Sheena for having us along to share your day with you. We wish you both (and your two gorgeous girls!) all the best for married life together.
Thanks again to Bianca from Stories by Bianca for co shooting the day!
Sarah & Cole’s beautiful wedding day took place at Gracehill Vineyard Estate in Kumeu, Auckland. While Cole and his guys got ready at the venue after a busy morning setting up, Sarah and her ladies were just down the road at the lovely Lichfields cottage. Kaitlin Chapman did an amazing job of hair and makeup as always, with everyone looking fantastic! After their ceremony, we wisked the bridal party away for some photos around the lovely grounds of Gracehill, before returning to start the night’s celebrations. The speeches were fantastic, with many laughs and the odd tear I’m sure!
Sarah & Cole – We wish you both all the best for the future as husband and wife. Thank you for having Amber & I along to share your special day with you. Enjoy the photos!
It was an early start for Raymond & Michelle’s wedding as they got ready in their respective locations for a late morning ceremony at St Michael’s church in Remuera. Along with a traditional ceremony, there were also two tea ceremonies in between our location session. Lots of colour and laughs throughout the day. After the first tea ceremony and a break for lunch, we headed to One Tree Hill for the first stop in our location session, followed by Wynyard Quarter. Before heading to the reception venue, it was back to the Heritage Hotel for one final tea ceremony, and then along Tamaki Drive to Okahu. By now the weather had closed in, so we had time for a few quick photos on the wharf before heading in for speeches and dinner.
Raymond & Michelle – it was a pleasure to be a part of your amazing day. Wishin you both all the best in this new adventure together. Enjoy the photos!
The latest album to arrive on a courier, is Blake & Ashlee’s stunning 10×18 inch duo album from Queensberry. This album is a thing of beauty with 25 solid pages. It is one of the biggest designed yet and just looked amazing. Blake & Ashlee had so many favourite images they wanted to include, and so the 10×18 inch album was the best choice to showcase these. I love it when they arrive with their fresh contemporary leather smell. Here is a bit of a sneak peek inside this amazing album.
